Public transport in Prague

Exploring famous spots in a city, going to your favourite café, or commuting to work? Either way, you need to move around the city somehow. You can, of course, drive around, look for empty parking spaces, and figure out how to pay for parking in this one specific zone.
You can also walk. Do you have a few hours to get to the other side of the city?
I’ve heard a lot of people praise the public transport in Prague, and I have to say, I’ll join them. It takes some getting used to, but once you do so, you can move around the city freely.
We’ve got an integrated system of 118 buses, 27 trams, and 3 subway lines. Additionally, there are trains connecting over 40 train stops and stations throughout Prague.
How do you get around most efficiently? I wouldn’t want to get a single ticket each time I was about to board. I wouldn’t even recommend it; the final cost will eventually be way higher than with the monthly/ yearly coupons.
For me, the easiest way to deal with it is through Lítačka. It's an official website that lets you get tickets or coupons for public transport very easily. If you need to travel only in Prague, you'll only need the 0 or P zone.
Have fun exploring the city!
